Endless scrolling through Instagram gave me the idea to construct a typeface on the grid system of the Instagram feed. I realised that I could literally build a letter one post at a time by using the 1:1 ratio of the Instagram posts or my phones photo ratio of 4:3 through an external app. The 4:3 posts consist of 4 possible combinations, 2 landscape and 2 portrait. This made it possible to create each letter on a 3x3 grid (9 Instagram posts) and keep the structure consistent.

If anyone from Instagram is reading this I hope you enjoy this thick modular type as it is the result of much wasted time spent browsing your beloved app.

You can find the type here > @FEEDTYPEFACE
